Zoning Maps

Use the index map to the left to view any of the 18 tiles of the Washington DC zoning map,

presented in PDF format*. The magnifying glass tool will zoom in on a specific section of the map. Zoning districts and overlay districts abbreviations are presented on the zoning m

ap.

To print a zoomed in section of a map, follow these steps:

For best results, we recommend that you download the map files to your desktop and then open the file in Adobe Acrobat Reader window before you execute the steps below.

1. Click your mouse over the text selection tool, in the area shown in red in this graphic:
2. Select the last option, shown here ringed in red:
3. Use this "Graphical Selection Tool" to select the area you wish to print
4. Click the print button:
5. Select the option to print only the graphical selection in the print dialog box.

Note:

1. You can search for and select the zoning map containing your desired property. To improve your odds of selecting the right map tile using this interface, insert DC Square numbers in the search panel.
2. Check the  Addenda-Errata Sheet for recent changes, these will be reflected in the next release of the Zoning Maps.
3. Cross reference PUD numbers found on each map tile with the  PUD Index Page for additional information.
